The story
Every notes app is good at swallowing a thought. None of them ever brings one back. Uttr was built around the half of memory nobody ships: the return. Appointments go to Apple Calendar and tasks to Apple Reminders — table stakes, free forever. The thought that is neither, the one with no date on it, is the one you were going to lose. Uttr holds it and hands it back: two days later, then a week, three weeks, two months, four.
Returns are rationed to a few per morning, and the ones closest to what today is actually about come first — a note about the car resurfaces on the morning of the car service. “Got it” retires it; nothing is ever deleted.
It is also a privacy argument shipped as an app: transcription happens on the phone, and on iPhones with Apple Intelligence the AI structuring does too. There is no account to create and no analytics SDK in the binary. The business model is the return, not the data.

Speak one messy breath and it files the dates into Apple Calendar, the to-dos into Apple Reminders — and returns everything else to you over the following months, a few each morning, timed to the day they matter.
