On other iPhones, cloud refine is off unless you switch it on; when on, the text transcript (never audio) goes to Uttr’s private endpoint and nowhere else. One narrow exception: if on-device speech recognition fails before producing any text, iOS retries that capture through Apple’s own dictation, the same service your keyboard uses.
